Cyrus is a public speaker and speaks at conferences, corporations, colleges and other events. He speaks on a variety of topics including China, international business, entrepreneurship, life balance, and more.

In the Keynote Speech “Why the World Needs China” at TEDx Talks Cyrus reveals 5 Life lessons from his 10 years in China. Cyrus shows his passion for building bridges between Western countries and China.

Cyrus Janssen gave the Keynote Speech “Marketing your Facility to the Chinese Community” at a Trade Show for the British Columbia Professional Golfers’ Association.

Cyrus was invited to Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada to give a keynote speech about China and its role in the future of our world. 

Cyrus Janssen was invited by the Vancouver based Chinese Canadian organization to give a keynote speech in Mandarin about his personal experience of living and working in China as an American expat.

On Feb 23, 2022 Cyrus traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to give a keynote speech at Vanderbilt University on the topic: “The Politics of Covid Containment Strategies in the U.S. & China”.

Cyrus moderated a panel discussion at the University of Michigan on “Tech Giants and Antitrust Reflection.” The event was organized by a partnership with the Michigan China Forum, a student organization at the university. The panel discussed the latest antitrust laws and regulations for China and the United States.

In this debate, Cyrus discusses the future of the tech giant Huawei, together with 3 panelists. Warren Whitlock is a Digital Development Strategist and Author,  Emre Alkin is an Economist and Digital Influencer, and Andy Mok is a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for China and Globalization.

Cyrus was invited by the Canadian Community Service Association to be one of the hosts for the 2021 Chinese New Year Gala. Together with three co-hosts, he hosted the important Chinese festival digital broadcast on CNCC (加拿大国家中文频道).

In April 2021, the Shenzhen Daily published an article introducing Cyrus Janssen, his work and his goals. The author introduces his channel and his plans of “building a bridge for a better U.S.-China relationship.

Together with his wife, Cyrus was a Guest Lecturer at Florida State University which is a Public university in Tallahassee, Florida. 

In his article for the Guancha, Cyrus talks about how he experienced his first Chinese New Year in China. He reflects on local traditions and what has changed since then, especially under the influence of the pandemic.
